EarthxSustainableU Explores Efficiency in High Performance Buildings

Free Event at Richland College Continues Series of Learning Events from

EarthX and the Dallas County Community College District

EarthxSustainableU will present “Efficiency is the Master Key to High Performance Buildings”, another free event offered through the collaboration of EarthX with the Dallas County Community College District. As North Texas continues to grow, and more people need places to live, work, play, shop, and eat, new and existing buildings will need to perform at a high level to provide healthy environments, energy efficiency, equity, and resiliency. Some of the brightest minds in the industry will gather to discuss and share how to save money and energy though building efficiency.

“EarthxSustainableU is teaching practical solutions and ideas that everyone can consider and implement,” said Georgeann Moss, Executive Administrator, Sustainability Outreach & Initiatives for DCCCD. “DCCCD houses a trove of students, teachers, community leaders, influencers, and activists who we want to first teach about sustainability, and secondly inspire to action.”

This is the third in a series of EarthxSustainableU learning events presented by EarthX in partnership with the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) to broaden understanding of key environmental issues. The first in October addressed Mobility Issues and the second in November focused on Urban Agriculture and Food Security.
