To celebrate the launch of Duracell Quantum, the world’s most advanced and long-lasting alkaline battery, “Dallas” actor Josh Henderson joined Duracell Quantum to make a donation of 150,000 Quantum batteries to the first responders of Texas A&M Forest Service and Dallas Fire Rescue. The Texas A& M Forest Service, which helps  protects wildlands in Texas from fires, will be distributing the batteries to local volunteer fire departments, including those in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.

Josh Henderson (“Dallas,” “Desperate Housewives”) and Duracell presented the donation of new Duracell Quantum batteries to the  firefighters on October 15 at Trinity River Audubon Center,  surrounded by the nation's largest urban hardwood forest. Supporting first responders hits close to home for Henderson, a Dallas native whose grandfather proudly served with Dallas Fire Rescue.

Duracell also launched a documentary-style video series called “Quantum Heroes," which tell untold stories of sacrifice and heroism of first responders which will be screened at the event.  The series is also available to view on YouTube.com/Duracell
