Kadampa Meditation Center Texas Relocates Downtown

After 22 years in the metroplex, Kadampa Meditation Center Texas has moved to the West End area of Dallas at 1875 Laws Street, across from the Dallas Aquarium. The addition of a Buddhist temple as a unique place of refuge within the bustling revitalization of downtown Dallas welcomes everyone and hopes to offer peace and tranquility to people in Dallas and throughout the metroplex.

The temple and meditation center will open to the public on October 30 with a talk, Building Peace, to welcome people to the new center and bring healing to an area that has experienced recent violence and upheaval.

The temple was built for the local community to offer authentic meditation instruction and practical teachings for modern spiritual living. It offers multiple classes through the week teaching the path to a peaceful mind and spiritual growth.
