Prairie Lights Goes Green

Prairie Lights Goes Green

Through the holiday season, visitors can enjoy the sights in the knowledge that thanks to Breeze Energy, a company committed to 100 percent pure, 100 percent  clean, 100 percent Texas wind energy, the 4 million lights set along two miles of pathway will be offset by their donated renewable energy credits to the city of Grand Prairie to offset the carbon footprint—including the 50, 000 cars that visitor will drive at the event.

Prairie Lights will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday on non-holidays and 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and holidays to January 4, 2016. Halfway through the drive, Holiday Village offers holiday food, gifts, carnival rides, Santa, an all-new laser show and the Holiday Magic Lighted Walk-Through Forest.

Admission is $20 to $30 per car. Location: Lynn Creek Park, 5610 Lake Ridge Pkwy., Grand Prairie. For more information, call 972-237-4569 or visit PrairieLights.org. to enter a sweepstakes for a free year of wind energy, visit BreezeEnergyFreeYear.com.
