Garland’s free Live Well/Go Green Expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., September 23, at the Curtis Culwell Center, with tips for a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Stop & Learn sessions will be presented at exhibitor booths throughout the event. These free quick learning sessions cover a variety of Live Well /Go Green topics such as cooking, rain barrels and raising chicks. Healthy You exhibitors offer free health screenings, along with helpful insights for nutrition, exercise and more. Flu, pneumococcal and shingles vaccines also will be available for a low cost.

Healthy Earth exhibitors feature information for sustainable living, such as landscaping advice, energy-saving tips and recycling information. Visitors also can find a variety of natural and alternative healthy lifestyle products and services at the Expo.
