Three-Day March for the Cure

In the Susan G. Komen Dallas 3-Day event, participants will walk 60 miles in Dallas between November 2 and 4 to end breast cancer forever. Participants must raise a minimum of $2,300 and walk an average of 20 miles a day, educating tens of thousands of people about breast health with every step.

The funds raised have helped  Dallas Susan G. Komen Foundation lead the global breast cancer movement with more than $2 billion invested in the fight against breast cancer to date. Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds raised support the global research program and other mission objectives, while the remaining 25 percent helps affiliates support local programs such as medical assistance, patient navigation and provider education.

“Susan G. Komen has a bold goal to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths in the U.S. by 50 percent by 2026,” says Carrie Stovall, Susan G. Komen 3-Day senior director of events. “The participants in Dallas have worked tirelessly to help us reach our goal, and we will not stop until breast cancer is a thing of the past.”
