About
Situated in a quiet East Dallas neighborhood, the quaint café is one of the first restaurants to have embraced the slow food movement. “We were a part of the slow food/green foods movement a long time ago. Our garden is all organic, and doesn’t use any pesticides of course,” said owner Dale Wootton. Diners can sit on the patio and gaze at the very herbs used in the food they’re eating. Garden Café has a dog permit so that pet owners can enjoy the weather with their four-legged friends. The Garden Café has indoor seating for 64 people. There is also an outdoor patio with approximately 50 seats in the garden area. There is a fresh herb and vegetable garden in the back. The Garden Café is open for breakfast and lunch every day except Monday.
