Earthx2019 Global Voices Headed to Dallas for the World’s Largest Celebration of Earth Day

Earthx2019 Reveals Some of the Global Voices Headed to Dallas for the

World’s Largest Celebration of Earth Day, April 26 to 28

A selection of the speakers for Earthx2019 has been released, suggesting a compelling lineup of influencers that will define Dallas’ celebration of Earth Day, once again expected to be the world’s largest. Four United Nations Ambassadors will join with Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC); Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI); three members of the esteemed Jean Michel Cousteau family; Rick Perry; Juan Manuel Santos Calderón GColIH GCB, Nobel Laureate and former president of Colombia; LeAnn Rimes; multiple Dallas Mayoral Candidates, and several others for Earthx2019. In its ninth year, EarthX strives to bring all sides to the table to help make change happen for a sustainable future.

“I’m pretty much a Texas Republican that wants to protect the planet – the two aren’t mutually exclusive,” said Trammell S. Crow, founder of EarthX. “EarthX is like the world’s biggest environmental salon, cutting across borders, party lines, classes, races, and ages to say, ‘Let’s get together and fix this.’ We help connect good ideas with investment, diplomatic channels, and development. We’re not just here pointing fingers, we’re working side-by-side.”

Expected to attend from the United Nations are Ambassador Sisilo from the Solomon Islands, Ambassador Chigiyal from the Federated States of Micronesia, Ambassador Tone from the Kingdom of Tonga, and Ambassador Feturi from the Independent State of Samoa, who will all participate in the first ever EarthX Island Resilience Forum addressing communities on the front lines of climate change. In the same current, advocates, conservationists, and documentarians Fabien Cousteau and Céline S. Cousteau will extend the conversation at EarthxOcean.

Bringing together an international gathering of concerned environmental citizens, educators, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and thought leaders, EarthX aims to have productive conversations to educate and drive action about water and air health, soil health, acidification of oceans and coral reefs, sustainable farming and ranching, and several other areas.

Earthx2019 will include three days of exhibitions, a film festival, music, entertainment, learning experiences, discussions, forums, and conferences to positively discuss achievable solutions for environmental change.

“We’re fortunate to attract people with all positions and opinions, and create a safe, neutral place for them to come together to discuss solutions for the planet,” added Tony Keane, Chief Executive Officer of EarthX.

Dallas mayoral candidates expected for the EarthX Mayor’s Forum on Saturday, April 27 include Regina Montoya, Albert Black, Scott Griggs, Jason Villalba, Lynn McBee, Miguel Solis, Steve Smith, and Miguel Patino.

More information about speakers and scheduled events to-date for Earthx2019 can be viewed at www.earthx.org. The event will run April 26 to 28, 2019 at Fair Park as well as other locations in Dallas.
