Arugula, peaches, blackberries, purslane, new potatoes, plums, summer squash, kale, chard, and cabbage and more will be available at Saturday's market at Edens Organic Garden Center/CSA/Farm in Balch Springs. The market is open from 8 a.m until noon (or sell-out) on the first and third Saturdays from April - December.  It will also be open on the fifth Saturday in June and September.

"This week we have a very special treat for music lovers," said farm owner Marie Tedei. "Mary LeBus with Harp Joy will join us with her beautiful harp. For those who've always wanted to try their "pluck" on a harp, Mary will be bringing extra harps for you to try!"  Other market highlights, Tedei explained, include:
 
"Fresh Life Foods, which is expanding their offerings of freshly baked, organic goodness. They'll also have their signature organic coffee, organic tea, ice coffee and especially for our riders, locally bottled drinking water. 

"Savoy Sorbet is now avail at Eden's!!! For your sweet tooth, it's like catnip for humans! All naturally handmade, artisan sorbet flavors that are out of this world. In our freezer at the farm/garden shop.

"Bar M Ranch's grass fed beef, Eden's Garden CSA Farm, Farmer Jones Eco Friendly Produce (who also bring in fresh yard eggs),  Larken Farms Orchard and Wolfsong Farm will be on hand with fresh, seasonal produce and herbs to round out your local food menu this week"
