Whole Foods Market Stores Raise $40,752 for Local DFW Non-Profits on 6/22 Giving Day

One of Whole Foods Market’s core values is focused on active participation in the community, with local involvement that includes quarterly 5% Community Giving Days as one meaningful way to give back. On June 22, thirteen DFW Whole Foods Market stores partnered to support local non-profit organizations who impact the community in important ways.

On that day, stores from Dallas, Addison, Richardson, Plano, Fairview, Highland Village, Colleyville, Arlington and Fort Worth donated a percentage of net sales to these local non-profits:

The collective impact of this quarterly Community Giving Day brought $40,752.30 in total funds raised, thanks to the dollars spent in stores by thousands of shoppers. Community Giving Days aim to engage surrounding communities in conversation about organizations who make a difference, as well as raise crucial funds in support of their work.
