A friend of mine pointed out this video that was made in 2009 by Joe York for the University of Mississippi's Center for Documentary Projects and the Southern Food Alliance.  It tells a great story of Georgia rancher Will Harris, a third generation rancher, who returned his ranch to its roots when he decided to switch from raising cattle for the industrial beef production system and "made a conscious decision to return to a production system that is better for the environment, our cattle and the health of the people who eat our beef." 

It's well worth the 15 minutes it takes to watch.
