A wide variety of cheeses are handmade in this tiny artisanal cheese factory, located in the shadows of Downtown Dallas in Deep Ellum. Their product list goes far beyond their signature Fresh Mozzarella. Known far and wide for their award-winning cheeses, the Mozzarella Company cheesemakers are constantly creating new and delicious cheeses … try Hoja Santa Goat Cheese (creamy goat cheese wrapped with a fragrant herb that imparts a delicate sassafras flavor to the cheese), Pecan Praline Mascarpone Torta (their ode to the South), and their wonderful cheeses flavored with southwestern chiles and herbs. And if you haven’t tried Deep Ellum Blue, you are in for a treat! Stop by the little shop on Elm Street and taste the cheese.
