The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden annual Holiday at the Arboretum will take place from November 6 to January 8, 2017, featuring the return of the magnificent 12 Days of Christmas outdoor exhibit. This year from November 25 to December 31, the DeGolyer House hosts a new Claus Collection Santa Exhibit, on loan from the Junior League of Dallas.
Twelve elaborate, 25-foot-tall Victorian gazebos will be on display in the 66-acre-garden, filled with the charming costumed characters, whimsical animals and winter scenes. Each is encased in glass and extravagantly decorated on all sides to provide a dramatic, three-dimensional experience that adds to its “music box” quality from the Victorian era.
There will also be live music, special holiday performances, holiday tea, Santa sightings, special activities appearances by popular North Pole residents and holiday treats, with 500,000 lights strung throughout the garden.
Location: 8525 Garland Rd., Dallas. For pricing and a complete schedule, visit DallasArboretum.org.
