The State Fair of Texas runs for 35 days between September 28 and October 21 at Fair Park. With a theme of Celebrating Texas Innovation.  From America’s first self-contained modern shopping center, stadium nachos, iconic corn chips, the frozen margarita machine, handheld calculators, to even corny dogs, several of the world’s favorite creations were introduced right here in the Lone Star State. highlights include more than 100 attractions and 70 midway rides.

Home on the Range, a new attraction inside the Coliseum, features a redesigned Little Hands on the Farm farm-to-market activity for little ones, as well as the Children’s Barnyard petting zoo. An agriculture exhibit displays unique ways to grow high-yield, healthy produce indoors and DIY growing systems that can be built at home.

A new livestock birthing barn showcases the incubation and birthing process of livestock animals. With 40 years of experience, Frank Addington, Jr., will display his talents in an amazing archery show. The all-star stunt dog show has performed across the country, and all of them are former shelter rescues. There is much, much more, including sensory-friendly mornings every Wednesday, art galleries and the classic rivalry college football games between Texas and OU, Prairie View and Grambling and Texas Southern and Southern University.
