P.O.P. Acres is a family owned, pasture-based, local-market farm located in Navarro County, Texas between Dallas and Waco, Texas. We moved from the Dallas Metroplex in 2004 and have learned a lot about what it takes to run a farm. Though challenging and never dull, we would not want any other life. Our farm is our home.

Our focus is raising and producing food for ourselves and others using natural and organic methods. Our primary effort has been to raise cattle to the harvest stage on grass without growth hormones, grain, harmful chemicals, or antibiotics. Last year's Texas drought taught us a stiff lesson on the need for diversity if we are ever going to remain sustainable.

Pastured broiler chickens and pastured turkeys have been added to our line-up to take advantage of more flexible production goals. Our production methods incorporate organic poultry grains and grass.

Since the passing of the Texas Cottage Food Law in 2011, we have begun to offer a limited selection of farm-baked goods . When summer fruit ripens we will add jams and jellies to our shelves.
