Edible Dallas & Fort Worth: The Cookbook, edited by Terri Taylor

Book-signing Event, Thursday, October 25, 2012, 7:00 PM

Barnes and Noble, Lincoln Park (just across from Northpark on NW Highway)

Edible Dallas & Fort Worth: The Cookbook, edited by native Texan, Terri Taylor, is a superb source of previously unpublished recipes, just in time for Thanksgiving. This brand new cookbook features recipes by North Texas farmers and ranchers, food writers, chefs and food purveyors.

All the recipes are easily achieved in home kitchens, with splendidly vivid photographs to provoke the reader into cooking up something new for the table. Terri Taylor has edited a beautiful tribute to the historic and expanding diversity of Dallas and Fort Worth’s best regional cooks, local food growers and providers, and sources of uniquely North Texas artisanal products.

McKinney, Texas and Collin County chefs and farmers are well represented in this handsomely designed book, with even a couple of Motley family organic concoctions. The wonderfully clever and instructive double-sided cover provides a delightful poster on the inside, illustrating historic views of old Ft. Worth and Dallas neighborhoods, including locations of some of their by-gone farmers’ markets.

Come join Terri Taylor and Edible Dallas & Fort Worth: The Cookbook contributors tonight at Barnes and Noble, Lincoln Park (just across from Northpark on Northwest Highway) at 7:00 PM for the book-signing event.

Cheers, Tom
