Local Yocal has introduced several new product recently, greatly expanding their support of local farmers and artisans. New products include:
- Stillwater Farms Jams and Jellies that are made using local fruit, most of which is grown in the farms orchard in Van Alstyne, TX. Currently the store carries Blackberry, Blueberry Honey, Strawberry and Peach Cinnamon with plans to add Plum & Grape Jellies and Apple Butter with the next week or so.
- SPC Gourmet Shortbread, made by Becky Watts who also makes a line of sorbets. Her cookies come by the dozen in elegant little boxes, perfect for a gift.
- Xochitl Salsa & Chips, organic tortilla chips and salsa verde made DFW metroplex.
- Sterling Tea, from Brenda Sterling Meyers, who brought her passion for tea and 10 years of blending experience to create small batch blends of luscious, premium white and green teas, delightfully robust black teas, deliciously fresh herbal tisanes, and the most flavorful rooibos blends.
And coming soon to Local Yocal's shelves is a line of Wondercide Natural Pest Control, an organic solution to the life threatening effects of commonly used pesticides. The store will soon have the Wondercide repellent, Evolv flea and tick spray, Bioedefence insecticide, and Wondefense all purpose insect killer. All products are organic and so safe you can spray them right on your food.
